Condoms – The Jargon Buster

Condoms – The Jargon Buster

It’s time for you to go shopping again, so you log in, you look through the pages and pages of condoms and then stop. There are so many different types to choose from and, feeling overwhelmed by the all the different words, you opt for your usual instead.

It’s easily done, and we probably do it in many areas of our lives from sexual necessities to the bread that you have for toast. It’s hard to choose when you have so many options.

But, choosing carefully can change everything and open your eyes to new possibilities, making things that little bit more interesting.

So, there are hundreds and hundreds of types of condoms and it can be pretty hard to know where to start.

In this blog post, we are going to kind into some of the jargon and help you to decipher what we have.

Hopefully by the end of this blog post, you’ll be ordering more than just the usual.

Textured and Ribbed

There are many different kinds of textured condoms and each has different perks and styles. But in a nut shell, they are designed to increase the pleasure of those involved. Depending on the style of the particular condom that you chose, it can either increase pleasure for the male, the female or both parties involved.

For example, some are designed with two different texture options in separate parts of the condom, these are usually designed for women specifically. That’s because each part is tailored to stimulate different aspects of the woman’s body. Others, on the other hand, have a textured design on the inside and in this case, these are for the male parties.

If you’re looking to try something new or to add something new into your sex life, these are the ideal choice to begin with.

Flavoured

Gone are the days when there were only two or three flavours of condoms available and these days, there are hundreds and hundreds of options. From vanilla and pineapple to bubble-gum and, uh, bacon, there are various different flavours for various different people. We don’t know who came up with that last one either.

These condoms are designed to add something different to oral sex, whilst maintaining a level of protection.

Warming

In order to heighten and enhance the sensation, these condoms are generally made from a thinner layer of latex.

They are made to contain a heating lubricant that begins to activate when it makes contact with the human body. The heated condom then increases pleasure for all parties involved.

Pleasure-shaped

As the descriptive name suggests, these condoms have been designed to enhance the pleasure during the interaction. The top is designed to be wider in order increase the friction and to further stimulate the nerve endings. Some of these condoms also have shapes and texture within them to further add to the experience.

Glow in the dark

Ok, these are pretty much only designed for fun and don’t offer much in terms of experience.  These have to be exposed to the light for 30 seconds in order for them to work. But imagine how much of a surprise they could be for the other party.
